DAY 02 – Bentota

Bentota is a coastal town in Sri Lanka, located in the Galle District edge of the Province. It is approximately 65 kilometers (40 mts). Bentota is situated on the southern bank of the Bentota River mouth, at an elevation of 3 metres (9.8 ft) above the sea level. The name of the town is derived from a mythical story which claims a demon named 'Ben' ruled the tota or river bank.

DAY 02 – Kandy.

After breakfast, Proceed to Kandy via Pinnawala Elephant orphanage.

A major city in Sri Lanka located in the Central Province. It was the last capital of the ancient kings' era of Sri Lanka. The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and is also the capital of the Central Province. Kandy is the home of The Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. It was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988.

DAY 02 – Sigiriya.

After breakfast, proceeds to Dambulla after climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
